Isaac Sim Consultant
Cerebra Consulting Inc is seeking an Isaac Sim Consultant to leverage deep knowledge of NVIDIA's robotics simulation platform. The role involves setting up and maintaining simulation environments, integrating robotics hardware, and generating synthetic data to enhance AI-driven robot training.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain simulation environment, auto-annotation, and CAD/synthetic data pipeline
Install robot arms, cameras, grippers; run calibration & IK testing
Create precise virtual replicas of real-world environments
Develop and accelerate reinforcement learning (RL) and imitation learning algorithms
Accurately simulating a variety of sensors
Bridging the simulation to real-world robots using communication protocols
Using Python and the Core API for a wide range of tasks
Leveraging the Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) file format to import, build, and share robot and environment assets
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of NVIDIA's robotics simulation platform and its integration into robotics and AI workflows
Experience across the robotics stack (minus/except modeling)
Set up and maintain simulation environment, auto-annotation, and CAD/synthetic data pipeline
Install robot arms, cameras, grippers; run calibration & IK testing
Tuning and optimizing the high-fidelity, GPU-accelerated PhysX engine for realistic robot behavior
Using NVIDIA Omniverse Replicator to generate large, labeled datasets for training perception models
Creating precise virtual replicas of real-world environments, such as factory floors
Developing and accelerating reinforcement learning (RL) and imitation learning algorithms using the GPU-accelerated Isaac Lab framework
Accurately simulating a variety of sensors, including cameras, LiDAR, and contact sensors
Bridging the simulation to real-world robots using communication protocols like ROS and ROS 2
Using Python and the Core API for a wide range of tasks, from building environments to scripting complex robot behaviors
Leveraging the Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) file format to import, build, and share robot and environment assets
Deep expertise in Python and/or C++
Extensive experience with Isaac Sim and the Omniverse platform
Strong background in physics, kinematics, motion planning, and 3D modeling
Knowledge of training and deploying AI models, particularly in the context of robot perception and control
Experience integrating different software components and hardware into a cohesive robotics system
Ability to debug complex issues related to physics, integration, and simulation performance
