Responsibilities

Enablement of Azure-based solutions and capabilities through partnership with infrastructure, development, and security teams

Design and automation of secure, reliable methods for monitoring and deploying solutions across the cloud infrastructure

Assist in management of data pipelines and troubleshooting deployments

Define and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices

Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for Azure workloads

Integrate identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring solutions

Provide technical leadership in incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Stay current with Azure advancements, cybersecurity threats, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)

Collaborate with peer teams to raise the overall fluency of Azure

Required

Skilled in deploying and managing Azure Function Apps, Azure Container Apps, Azure Static Web Apps, and Azure AI Foundry resources

Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Expertise in Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and Azure Policy

Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)

Knowledge of Intune, SSO, Conditional Access, Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview

Strong background in cloud engineering, networking, and security architecture

Preferred

Knowledge of HIPAA/HITRUST preferred
