Responsibilities

Participate in the maintenance of security tools and technologies

Aid in the evaluation, design, and implementation of security related solutions, adhering to established change control processes

Participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the security engineering team and associated appliances

Participate in the research, evaluation, and creation of recommended courses of action for security hardware/software and tools to make overall impact on the enterprise’s existing security environment

Participate in the development and maintenance of cyber security solutions

Continuously maintain a high level of technical expertise on Cyber Security defense-in-depth technology and best practices by performing ongoing research and engagement to maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices

Develop and update documentation to support new / changes to procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas

Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Knowledge / understanding of core cyber security principles

Knowledge / understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix

Knowledge / understanding of SIEM
