Dobbs Equipment is seeking a Rental Account Manager to oversee the rental of John Deere equipment and allied products. The role involves developing client partnerships and increasing market share through effective customer relationship management and strategic prospecting.

Responsibilities

Rent and promote the entire product line distributed by Dobbs Rental

Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding rental revenue targets set by Manager

Grow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase rental market share

Prospecting and cold calling to increase customer base and market presence

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers at the store or by phone

Responsible for utilizing rental lead platform, calling on all contractors and sub-contractors in territory

Maintains a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the time spent in the field and the office and provides this schedule to the Manager

Tracks all quotes including jobs won, jobs pending, jobs lost and jobs developing in CRM

Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and promotions

Valid Driver's License

Equipment Sales experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or a minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record

Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers

Strong problem-solving skills

Must be able to self-manage/self-motivate

PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and CRM platforms
