Responsibilities
Support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation and litigation matters
Conduct client intake interviews and maintain consistent, compassionate communication throughout the life of the case
Prepare demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, settlement agreements, and correspondence
Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage loss documentation, and discovery materials
Monitor statutes of limitation, court deadlines, and case milestones to ensure timely and accurate filings
Work with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and experts
Organize exhibits, trial binders, witness lists, and assist attorneys during mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings
Manage case calendars, databases, document management systems, and perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism at all times
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation PI processes
Sound judgment, professionalism, and a client-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's in Paralegal/Legal Studies
2–3 years of personal injury paralegal experience strongly preferred
Experience handling medical records, insurance claims, and PI litigation
