HW Three is partnered with a New York-based Investment Bank, looking to hire a VP Operational and Data Analytics Auditor to join their team. In this role, you will prepare audit scopes, perform audit tests, and contribute to team initiatives related to data analytics and risk management.

Responsibilities

Prepare the audit scope, objectives, and work plans for assignments, including planned internal audits, and other projects as appropriate, including the selection of appropriate audit tests and identification of key controls
Perform audit test procedures and execute assigned portions of the audit plan
Assess results and provide feedback to business line management
Determines any additional testing requirements and summarize findings based on the results of test procedures
Provides input into the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment for multiple areas
Contribute to team initiatives (e.g., Data Analytics, Process Automation, Enterprise Risk Management)

Internal AuditData Analytics toolsCPA certificationCIA certificationCommunication skills

Required

A bachelors degree in business administration, audit, accounting or another related field
7+ years of experience in Internal Audit within a public accounting firm (ideally big four), or within financial services
Proven experience within internal audit (primarily financial and operational audit)
Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and can present
Experience utilizing Data Analytics tools (Python, PowerBI, Alteryx etc.) in an audit environment
Candidate's must be US Citizen, Green Card holders or Permanent Residents to be considered

Preferred

CPA/CIA certifications preferred / a willingness to get one
