Responsibilities
Align program objectives with organizational strategy; define and maintain roadmap for execution
Establish controls, governance mechanisms, and reporting structures for multi-project programs
Manage dependencies, priorities, and risks across multiple projects under the program
Plan, allocate, and optimize human and financial resources across programs and projects
Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate risks/issues to ensure program success
Maintain clear and consistent communication with VPs, sponsors, product leaders, and cross-functional teams
Track KPIs, delivery milestones, and health metrics; provide transparent status to leadership
Own program budgets, forecasts, and cost control; ensure efficient use of resources
Lead organizational and process changes resulting from programs; ensure adoption in business and IT teams
Ensure all program deliverables meet quality standards, compliance needs, and align with business objectives
Maintain comprehensive program documentation (charters, plans, RAID logs, reports)
Mentor project/program managers and leads; build a strong, high-performing delivery culture
Qualification
Required
18+ years in IT delivery/program management; at least 4–5 years in US Healthcare domain
Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar, multi-project programs in healthcare (digital, clinical, member/patient, claims, portals, or enterprise applications)
Strong background managing application development and modernization (cloud, microservices, platform upgrades)
Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and manage VP/C-level stakeholders
Expertise in setting up and running program governance, PMO frameworks, and standardized reporting
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scaled Agile, DevOps environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
Experience leading and scaling geographically distributed teams (onshore/offshore)
Preferred
Experience with major US healthcare ecosystems (payers/providers, EHR/EMR, digital front door, care management, etc.)
Certifications: PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent
Prior consulting or global systems integrator experience
