Responsibilities
Physically measure, document, and collect project quantities on all scopes of work performed within the project, and manage project quantity book
Assist with cost report management, including JDEdwards manipulations
Assist with project CPM management, including regular updates
Manage major subcontracts and suppliers, and input quantities into JDE & Quantity Book
Prepare pay estimates for major subcontracts and suppliers
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required
Minimum 1-3 years experience in heavy civil or related construction
Familiar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, and all other affiliated highway construction scopes
A Team player with strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and familiarity with Primavera, Bluebeam, and HCSS software
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and continues to learn from the experience of others
Willing to perform a variety of complicated tasks
A wide degree of creativity and engagement is expected
