Responsibilities
Automating test equipment
Write test plans and reports for FDA submissions
Create schematics and design PCBs to assist in testing of company products
Lab bring-up of products and test tools
Cross-functional collaboration within EE team and greater Product Development (MechE, F/W, System engineering)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related field)
1-3 years of industry experience in developing test systems
Excellent EE fundamentals
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits
Hands-on lab experience including soldering, data acquisition, lab test equipment: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging and functional verification
Familiarity with schematic and layout tools (Altium a bonus) as well as circuit analysis and simulation tools (SPICE)
Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Experience with a scripting language for analyzing and plotting data (Python a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with minimal supervision
