Assembler II

Responsibilities
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
Sets initial layouts and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s)
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure
Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures
Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)
Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
Accurately enter data into tracking system
Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment
Qualification
Required
Requires full job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education
Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
Preferred
Previous manufacturing/production experience
Experience working in a clean room environment
Experience with low and high-power microscopes
Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, Metrology, Laser Bonding, Laser Marking
Surface Mount experience in component attach
Final Device experience: Final Test, Device Singulation, Device Shaping, Leak testing
Experience and knowledge working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment
