Bath Savings Institution is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Loan Servicer II. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with loan inquiries, and perform various loan servicing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Provide Exceptional Customer Service without Exception

Ensure Branch offices receive prompt attention. Gathering any necessary information. This may involve calling another department and relaying the request to the appropriate area in a courteous and professional manner

Take a proactive stance to Loan Servicing by identifying customer needs and helping meet those individual needs in any way possible

Set-up and activate new mortgage and consumer loans in the Premier system.Process note amendments for consumer loans and mortgages

Open new credit card accounts on Credit Console

Receive and handle customer inquiries regarding loan bills, payments, statements, escrow accounts, credit cards, etc

Provide support to customers, branches and lenders on a variety of loan products

Process and correctly apply incoming loan payments using web capture.Set-up and maintain escrow account files

Review escrow analysis statements as needed.9. Review daily loan servicing reports as assigned. These reports may change from time to time

Produce customer letters as required

Recreate statement/billing notices as requested

Scan and index loan documents

Participate in a rotation of monthly duties such as agency reporting, coding loans for eStatements, quoting and processing payoffs, and the sale of loans into the secondary market

Pull and discharge paid off loans following proper guidelines.Review documents in loan files for completeness once post-closing has been completed

Monitor non-escrow accounts for payment of taxes in a timely fashion, to avoid tax liens being placed by the municipalities

Provide support for the review and processing of loan non-posted items daily

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read/write English and understand instructions

One year of banking experience or equivalent

Capable of performing accurate data entry, transaction processing, account maintenance and inquiries using a variety of software

Able to prioritize tasks, exercise good time management, good judgement, display initiative and work under minimal supervision

Strong analytical ability and attentiveness to detail

Demonstrates abstract thinking

Ability to operate and utilize general office equipment, and learn new technology

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Possesses strong organizational skills

Must be team-oriented, contribute to a positive working environment and possess a cooperative attitude

Preferred

Skill in business, finance and/or accounting preferred

Knowledge of general banking and lending practices beneficial
