Responsibilities

Develop and implement multi-year category strategies and roadmaps for direct, indirect, and labor cost categories
Align procurement initiatives with corporate objectives, ensuring measurable impact on profitability and operational efficiency
Serve as a thought leader in procurement transformation, introducing best practices and innovative sourcing models
Stand up and manage a robust spend analytics platform to enhance visibility and decision-making
Drive data governance and classification improvements to support accurate reporting and actionable insights
Establish KPIs for spend under management, compliance, and supplier performance
Negotiate and manage enterprise-level supplier agreements, focusing on pricing, SLAs, and risk mitigation
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation
Design and execute scalable supplier business reviews to ensure alignment with BrightView’s goals
Partner with field leadership (SVPs, VPs/GMs, Branch Managers) to identify sourcing opportunities and close program gaps
Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, driving adoption of preferred supplier programs and compliance initiatives
Champion change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems
Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and analytics; lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Maximize savings through competitive sourcing, rebate programs, and strategic pricing structures
Support BrightView’s sustainability and supplier diversity objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; master's degree or certification (CPSM, PMP) preferred
10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience; including 5+ years in category management leadership
Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and program management
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spend analysis tools and dashboards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
Collaborative leader who inspires teams and drives accountability
Skilled in change management and organizational transformation

Preferred

master's degree or certification (CPSM, PMP)
