Responsibilities
Lead monthly/quarterly/annual closes for costing and inventory, ensuring accurate transactions and reconciliations
Develop and maintain standard costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; perform periodic cost studies
Analyze variances (PPV, absorption, manufacturing) and provide gross margin fluctuation insights globally
Manage inventory controls, cycle counts, physical inventories, and excess/obsolescence reserves
Oversee scrap, obsolescence, and transaction error resolution across domestic and international sites
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls; support audits and reporting
Drive process improvements and automation in Oracle ERP to enhance efficiency
Mentor and develop a team of 2+ cost accountants, fostering a high-performance culture
Collaborate with operations and FP&A on productivity initiatives and financial insights
Qualification
Required
7+ years in manufacturing cost accounting; semiconductor or high-tech preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Oracle ERP experience required; advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Deep expertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, variances, and GAAP/SOX
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities to drive change
High-energy, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment
Local to Wilmington, MA for hybrid work (4 days/week onsite)
Preferred
Experience with acquisitions, multi-site operations, or cost analytics tools
