Responsibilities
Install cabling, mount equipment, install card readers, door contacts, mag locks, electrified strikes, and integrated systems
Trouble shooting of cabling, card readers, door contacts, mag locks, electrified strikes, cameras, PLC, intrusion, and integrated systems
Functional understanding of low voltage systems, relays, principals of normally closed/normally open, series and parallel wiring
General understanding of Network Topology
Use a multi-meter to test for voltage, continuity, and resistance
Possess mechanical and computer skill and ability to effectively troubleshoot
Operate any hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks
Document and update works orders and customers in a timely manner
Will participate in the on-call rotation
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate, GED or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid TX Driver's License
Must have 5 or more years in relevant access control installation, service and configuration

Capacity to work independently
Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality

Currently licensed or must have the ability to immediately obtain TXDPS Security License
