Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts, logs, and dashboards to identify potential threats and unusual activity
Assist with analyzing, triaging, and escalating security events and incidents
Support vulnerability scanning and help track remediation efforts with IT teams
Assist in maintaining and tuning security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and email security systems
Participate in endpoint and network hardening initiatives
Support audits, risk assessments, and security documentation efforts
Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization
Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and cybersecurity best practices through ongoing learning
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or security operations
Foundational knowledge of networking, Windows systems, and basic security concepts
Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and desire to learn
Clear communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred
Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or endpoint security is a plus—but not required
