Senior Audit Supervisor
TWG Talent Solutions is seeking a qualified professional to join their client's audit team in a senior capacity, supporting client service delivery through comprehensive audit planning, execution, and quality assurance. The role involves leading audit planning initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Responsibilities
Lead audit planning initiatives and coordinate fieldwork activities to ensure timely service delivery
Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers and financial statements in full compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through professional service delivery and responsive communication
Provide thorough review of work performed by junior team members, offering constructive feedback and guidance
Serve as a technical resource, addressing complex accounting and procedural questions
Mentor team members and contribute to their professional development through hands-on training and knowledge sharing
Ensure all work adheres to established firm quality control procedures and professional standards
Support clients in merger and acquisition activities through financial analysis, ratio calculations, and identification of cost-saving opportunities
Conduct research on accounting pronouncements and provide guidance on proper application to client-specific situations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Current CPA certification in good standing
5+ years accounting experience
Demonstrates experience performing audits, reviews, and compilations for both for-profit entities and not-for-profit organizations
Proven ability to research accounting standards and apply technical guidance to complex client situations
