Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities during the afternoon/night shift to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Lead, train, and support production employees; monitor performance and provide coaching
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company policies and procedures
Monitor production metrics including output, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize workflow
Identify and support process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
Enforce safety standards and promote a safety-first culture
Troubleshoot production issues and escalate as needed to minimize downtime
Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate production records and shift reports
Participate in daily or weekly production and operations meetings
Qualification
Required
Strong production supervisor experience in a food manufacturing environment
Self-starter who can help drive change and make an impact
Lean manufacturing background
Experience supervising production employees
Ability to ensure safe and efficient operations
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to monitor production metrics including output, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization
Experience collaborating with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
Ability to identify and support process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
