Responsibilities

Oversee accurate and timely processing of biweekly, weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for salaried, hourly, tipped, seasonal, and union employees across the U.S. and Canada

Lead, mentor, and develop payroll team members, providing performance management, coaching, and goal-setting

Maintain strong communication and team cohesion in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Produce and analyze payroll reports for leadership, HR, Benefits, Risk Management, and other departments

Serve as the primary payroll liaison to internal and external service providers

Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory obligations

Partner with HR, Accounting, and other departments to resolve payroll issues promptly

Apply change-management best practices and continuously improve payroll processes and customer service quality

Protect the confidentiality and security of all payroll data

Manage timelines for pay corrections, inquiries, and reporting; handle special projects as assigned

Minimal travel may be required
