Responsibilities
Sample & Inventory Management
Support accurate inventory tracking, check-in/check-out procedures, and maintain the chain of custody for all product samples
Organize, label, and maintain both physical and digital sample records to ensure accessibility and compliance with lab standards
Sample Inspections & Forensic Support
Assist the Senior Forensic Analyst with visual packaging inspections and forensic evaluations (no chemical analysis required)
Support photography, image preparation, and documentation of suspect vs. genuine samples for case records
Contribute to the preparation of inspection reports by drafting notes, summarizing findings, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping
Promptly escalate unusual observations or discrepancies to the Senior Forensic Analyst
Coordination & Communication
Provide timely updates to the Senior Forensic Analyst and broader Brand Protection team on sample status and inspection processes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth workflows and accurate documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience or training in quality lab inspections or related laboratory practices
Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
Proficiency in basic data entry and analysis
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain accurate documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills to support technical reporting and team updates
One to four years of experience
Preferred
Proficiency in sample and inventory management processes, with attention to both physical and electronic record systems
Familiarity with product packaging inspections and/or forensic analysis
Experience and/or interest in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, or forensic science
