Responsibilities

Apply granular application with motorized application equipment
Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals, according to formulas
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environment practices
Follow all personal protection equipment safety requirements
Reading, understanding and staying current with MSDS(Materials Safety Data Sheets)
Site monitoring and treatment recommendations
Performing routine safety inspections on all spraying and application equipment

Qualification

Pesticide applicationState licensingMotorized application equipmentAttention to detailBilingual (Spanish/English)

Required

2-3 years experience with pesticide application
A valid driver's license
A current state licensing and pesticide applicator certificate is required for the job
Self-starter
Stable work history
Apply granular application with motorized application equipment
Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals, according to formulas
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environment practices
Follow all personal protection equipment safety requirements
Reading, understanding and staying current with MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheets)
Site monitoring and treatment recommendations
Performing routine safety inspections on all spraying and application equipment
Physical demands are required for this position and might include, but are not limited to: Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night, Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping

Ability to perform other cultural applications as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas
