Instructional Design Intern

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of education content in multiple platforms (primarily Articulate Storline & Rise, and Adobe Express)
Follow established formatting, branding, and documentation standards for all created materials
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to collect content and confirm accuracy
Contribute to the drafting of learning objectives, content outlines, and curriculum structure for assigned learning projects
Conduct quality assurance reviews on draft materials to ensure instructional clarity, consistency and usability
Support LMS content loading, publishing and basic testing of uploaded courses
Manage multiple priorities to meet departmental deadlines
Present project work, experiences, and learnings during final week of internship
Other duties as assigned

Required

Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in instructional design, human resources, marketing, communications, or similar discipline
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above)
Able to commit to the full 11-week internship working 40 hours per week

Preferred

Relevant instructional design coursework or experience relating to internship
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and others)
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Proficiency with Articulate Storyline & Rise
Experience on an employee/department experience team (educational, training, or customer service)
