They are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage client communications, and ensure efficient order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety and organization.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for client communication related to warehouse operations, shipments, and inventory status

Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and delivery partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments

Provide timely shipment and inventory updates to clients, maintaining high visibility and proactive communication

Support clients with special requests, such as updating listings in sales platforms, coordinating custom shipping projects, or handling product-related inquiries

Address customer service questions and concerns on behalf of clients in coordination with the internal team

Collaborate with the Director of Operations and internal team to ensure client satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness in all deliverables

Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflows, safety, and efficiency

Hire and oversee warehouse assistants, moving crews, or temporary labor as needed, within approved budgets

Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions, ensuring consistency and accountability

Coordinate inbound freight deliveries, including scheduling and receiving from freight forwarders and international shipments

Plan and coordinate equipment rentals or additional resources for container offloads or special projects

Monitor facility layout, space utilization, and storage strategy to maintain an organized and scalable system

Anticipate warehouse needs and propose operational improvements to increase efficiency or safety

Ensure the warehouse complies with OSHA standards, internal safety procedures, and any client-specific compliance requirements

Track, manage, and report on warehouse operational expenses (freight, supplies, equipment, and labor)

Maintain warehouse operations within established budgets, including staffing and supply costs

Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety

Conduct and oversee quarterly physical inventory counts for accuracy and reporting (administrative oversight only)

Create and maintain tracking reports and dashboards for warehouse performance, expenses, and client storage metrics

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time each day

Prepare and fulfill bulk retail shipments (e.g., Dick’s, Shields) in accordance with retailer packaging and routing guidelines

Generate shipping labels and process orders across platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, etc.)

Manage and process product returns, ensuring accurate restocking and documentation

Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products and shipments meet standards before leaving the warehouse

Alert the Warehouse Manager to low stock levels or damaged inventory

Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order fulfillment, receiving, and storage

Maintain supplies (boxes, tape, labels, etc.) and replenish as needed

Keep all areas of the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
