Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end M&A transaction execution, including sell-side and buy-side mandates
Develop and maintain client relationships with AEC firm executives, private equity sponsors, and strategic acquirers
Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and pitch books
Conduct and review financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and strategic alternatives assessments
Manage due diligence processes, coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors, and ensure deal timelines are met
Support origination efforts by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic pitches
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on M&A execution
Demonstrated ability to lead transactions independently, including managing client communications and internal deal teams
Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior executives
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Preferred
Prior exposure to the AEC industry or adjacent sectors (e.g., industrials, infrastructure, environmental services) is a plus but not required
