Infrastructure Leadership – Oversee daily operations of Azure, VMware, and Windows infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

System Modernization – Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern, cloud-based solutions that support evolving business needs and long-term growth

Cybersecurity Compliance – Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 and CMMC frameworks, ensuring all systems meet security and regulatory standards

Disaster Recovery & Continuity – Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience

Collaboration & Integration – Partner with architecture, DevOps, and application development teams to support seamless infrastructure readiness and integration

Automation & Optimization – Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs

Vendor & Resource Management – Manage vendor partnerships, licensing, and service-level agreements while leading a high-performing technical team focused on innovation and accountability

Monitoring & Reporting – Track infrastructure health, usage, and compliance metrics; prepare executive reports to support data-driven decision-making

Leadership & Mentorship – Inspire, guide, and develop technical professionals through coaching, collaboration, and performance management

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), valid passport, and driver's license required

8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, with 5+ years managing Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity)

Strong background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and endpoint management

3+ years managing VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

Proven experience implementing ISO 27001 and CMMC cybersecurity compliance

Demonstrated success leading technical teams and managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs

Deep expertise in Azure PaaS and IaaS infrastructure management

Advanced understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and modernization strategies

Skilled in developing and executing disaster recovery and continuity plans

Strong vendor management and negotiation experience

Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification preferred

Experience in transportation, logistics, or maritime industries preferred

Familiarity with Agile project management and tools like Atlassian Jira
