Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, and document complex interactions between AppDynamics software and underlying systems (OS, hardware, storage, networking, TLS, databases)
Provide customers with guidance on sizing and configuration best practices for AppDynamics platform components
Respond to customer inquiries regarding installation, configuration, and operation of AppDynamics products
Build and enhance internal tools to automate support processes and increase efficiency
Mentor team members to reduce technical gaps and lead escalations requiring senior expertise
Perform root cause analysis, collaborate with development to report bugs, and lead efforts to enhance product quality and reduce recurring issues

Required

Proficiency in Linux system administration (RHEL or CentOS preferred)
Hands-on experience with cloud environment and Kubernetes
Strong skills in writing and executing basic SQL queries
Skilled in identifying root causes by analyzing logs, thread dumps, and Wireshark captures

Preferred

Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Prior experience in customer-facing
Ability to troubleshoot Java TLS, JVM internals, networking, and database issues
Ability to read and understand one programming language
Bash/Python scripting experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
