New Grad, Entry LevelGlobalPoint is seeking to hire a contract Mainframe Computer Operator. This role involves operating mainframe printing equipment, monitoring the mainframe operating system, and providing help desk support among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Train to use mainframe printing equipment such as Xerox printers and PS600 pressure seal equipment
Breakdown and distribute reports and forms
Monitor the mainframe operating system
Schedule and process production batch work
Provide help desk support
Perform computer security support services
Control physical access to the data center
Provide guard coverage
Qualification
Required
Experience with mainframe printing equipment such as Xerox printers
Experience with PS600 pressure seal equipment
Ability to breakdown and distribute reports and forms
Ability to monitor the mainframe operating system
Experience in scheduling and processing production batch work
Ability to provide help desk support
Experience in performing computer security support services
Ability to control physical access to the data center
Ability to provide guard coverage
Availability to work during the 3rd shift from 11:30pm - 8:00am
Availability to work Sunday-Thursday
