Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and release C8 distributions for our self-managed customers, covering Helm Charts (Kubernetes), C8Run, Docker Compose, and related documentation
Improve reliability and usability of our deployment artifacts, ensuring a seamless experience from local setups to production clusters and day-2 operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Development Teams, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Support to deliver integrated, tested, and documented releases
Handle engineering-level support cases together with our support team to understand our customers issues and feed learnings back into development
Drive documentation and onboarding improvements - turning complex systems into clear, accessible instructions that help customers succeed faster
Qualification
Required
Ability and/or willingness to use our product
Strong expertise in building, operating, and maintaining Helm Charts; deploying applications on Kubernetes; implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; and managing infrastructure as code, e.g. through Terraform
Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams
A pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem solving
You thrive as a manager of one - you build it, you own it - and take pride in delivering maintainable, operable software
Preferred
Experience running and operating on-prem/self-hosted software on Docker
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools
Working knowledge of the Go programming language
