Responsibilities

Needs Assessment: Identify and address the educational needs of staff through needs assessments and ongoing evaluation

Clinical Expertise: Serves as a clinical resource and role model, providing mentorship and guidance to staff

Professional Development: Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, including continuing education, certifications, and advanced practice roles

Evidence-Based Practice: Promote the integration of evidence-based practices into clinical care through education and training

Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership, other departments, and external stakeholders to develop and deliver effective educational programs

Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes

Mentorship: As a Director of Clinical Education within our value-based care organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. You will mentor new employees, helping them to integrate into our organization and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality patient care. Your mentorship will contribute to their professional growth and success

Required

Current RN licensure

Minimum of [3] years of clinical experience

Master's degree in nursing education or a related field

Demonstrated expertise in adult education principles and methodologies

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills

Should demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment

Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order
