They are seeking an experienced bilingual Director/Sr. Director for their U.S. Finance team to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance.

Responsibilities
Lead all U.S. accounting operations in partnership with HQ Finance and accounting teams.to ensure consistent accounting policies, consolidation practices, and financial transparency
Manage timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end closings in accordance with SEC, and HKEX reporting requirements
Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and support SOX readiness and compliance
Lead FP&A activities for U.S. operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and partner with R&D
Partner with Clinical developments to deliver actionable financial insights, track project costs, and support portfolio decision-making
Support U.S. procurement operations and global procurement efforts in collaboration with the HQ Procurement function
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership to drive data-informed business decisions
Collaborate closely with IT and global finance partners to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs
Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Support both U.S. and global tax planning efforts by collaborating with tax advisors and internal teams to optimize tax strategies, ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, and identify opportunities for tax efficiencies
Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and industry controller-level leadership
Experience at a publicly traded company required; biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
Experience working with cross-border finance teams (especially in China) is a strong plus
Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with strong organizational and project management skills
Experience working with an R&D function
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams and geographies
A forward-thinking leader who can anticipate business needs and build scalable financial infrastructure for a global, high-growth company
Should be bilingual in English and Chinese to support our international operations
Preferred
Experience at a publicly traded company required; biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
Experience working with cross-border finance teams (especially in China) is a strong plus
