Responsibilities

Partner with the Bank’s front line business teams on their data journey
Act as the business’ advisor to guide them on best practices around data analytics and reporting and help them implement innovative reporting solutions to help achieve more robust analytics and gain process efficiencies
Assess their data needs and data proficiency with an eye towards self-service reporting capabilities
Leverage multiple Business Intelligence tools and data sources to build custom dashboards, workflows and reports that help teams streamline and automate their reporting needs
Evaluate the risks associated with data being shared within the organization and help enforce standards and policies related to data governance, data sharing, and PII visibility

Required

7-10 years of experience in a data centric reporting and analytics role, ideally in the Banking or Financial Services sector
A degree/diploma in accounting, finance, business, or related field
Strong technical acumen and proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Tableau or other Business Intelligence reporting tools
Strong communicator with stellar interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Experience in translating business requirements into effective, actionable and practical solutions
Self-driven and self-sufficient with strong analytical, logical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with ambiguity and can seek out answers with minimum supervision
Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relational databases and their reporting
Strong critical thinking skills
