Investment Banking Vice President, Energy, Power, Infrastructure
Selby Jennings is a leading middle-market investment bank seeking a Vice President to join its Energy, Power & Infrastructure team. The VP will be responsible for transaction execution, client relationship management, and team leadership within the energy value chain.
Responsibilities
Lead Transaction Execution:
Manage all aspects of M&A processes including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and preparation of marketing materials
Drive deal timelines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships with senior executives
Support business development efforts through pitch preparation and idea generation
Team Leadership:
Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, ensuring quality deliverables and professional growth
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
Industry Expertise:
Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and sector developments in energy, power, and infrastructure
Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to clients and internal teams
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of investment banking experience, with at least 4 years focused on M&A in energy, power, or infrastructure
Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise (DCF, precedent transactions, comparables)
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Preferred
MBA or CFA preferred
