Responsibilities
Lead a team of software developers to build best-in-class software applications that drive increased efficiency for our engineers within the Blue Engines business unit
Define coding standard methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that ultimately support the development, delivery, and sustainment of all our engines
Be the single-threaded-leader in ensuring that the solutions we deliver as a team effectively aligns with the needs of our business customers and business processes
Establish goals and define metrics to find opportunities for continuous improvement
Encourage others in your servant leadership and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years experience successfully managing software teams
Proven skill at developing and deploying production systems that can scale rapidly to meet significant demand
Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals like algorithms and data structures
Strong experience working in an agile development methodology
Outstanding project management and organizational skills
Experience with tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Next.js, Python
Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform environments
Preferred
Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry working with sophisticated systems (PLM, ERP, MRP systems)
