Carrier Sales Representative
Action Heavy Haul is a company specializing in heavy haul and freight logistics solutions. They are seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to act as a vital link between carriers, drivers, and account management, ensuring smooth operations for customer shipments.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain a database of qualified carriers to meet customer needs efficiently
Develop strong partnerships with carrier partners through regular communication and performance reviews
Source reliable carriers via load boards, emails, and outbound calls while vetting their suitability for each shipment
Act as the liaison between drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
Manage load statuses in our Transportation Management System (TMS) from dispatch to delivery
Provide timely updates on shipment progress to customers and internal teams
Address escalations related to carrier issues and ensure resolution
Qualification
Required
Minimum one year in freight brokerage or dispatch; knowledge of heavy haul equipment is a plus
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Strong communication abilities (written & verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Revenova (TMS) and Salesforce (CRM) is ideal
A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
Ability to Commute: Portland, OR (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Portland, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Associate's Degree preferred
Carrier Sales Representative: 1 year (Preferred)
