Business Development Manager
AbleNet, Inc. is a company focused on improving communication for individuals with disabilities. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by building relationships with Speech-Language Pathologists and promoting AbleNet’s medical funding services and speech devices.

Responsibilities
Proactively prospect leads and contacts within the assigned territory to drive the acquisition of new customers, particularly speech-language pathologists
Establish new clients through cold calling, responding to marketing leads, and leveraging existing networks
Leverage key stakeholders and Speech-Language Pathologists to provide exceptional customer service, support their needs, and promote AbleNet's speech device medical funding service
Schedule, confirm, and conduct customer meetings and presentations, utilizing a variety of technology solutions and best practices to educate key stakeholders and Speech-Language Pathologists about the AbleNet Funding Service Program and the QuickTalker Freestyle Speech Device
Position AbleNet's speech device medical funding service as the primary resource for customer needs and demonstrate fearless determination in showcasing the value of AbleNet’s solutions
Manage geographic and account territories to identify, create, develop, and manage opportunities in the sales pipeline accurately and consistently in Salesforce to achieve sales targets and goals
Collaborate proactively with internal departments and the global sales team to address customer needs and improve outcomes
Ensure CRM tools and AbleNet's sales journey methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities, and regularly meet or exceed individual quarterly, monthly, and weekly targets for BD KPIs, including outbound activity, opportunities generated, and closed business
Facilitate connections between Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and other professionals for referrals, creating a robust network to support student needs

Qualification
Required
Master's degree and certification in Speech-Language Pathology required
5+ years of experience working with individuals using AAC in a clinical or school setting

Analytical and Data Skills: Capable of analyzing and successfully using data
Compliance and Work Commitment: Understands and adopts the Business Development framework and guiding principles; maintains HIPAA and FERPA compliance; committed to working an average of 40-45 hours per week, with additional hours as necessary
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM software (SalesForce, HubSpot), and virtual platforms like Zoom; general computer skills and software experience preferred
Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Highly organized, self-starter, motivated, goal-oriented, passionate, confident, resilient, energetic, with a strong work ethic, compassionate, and empathetic
Presentation and Communication Skills: Demonstrates excellence in presentation skills with strategic messaging; strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen; proficient in pipeline development and management
