Responsibilities

Responsible for building a profitable book of business and achieving sales goals while successfully managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency

Generate leads and contact new and existing prospects through cold calling, emailing, networking, and referrals

Building relationships with customers and carriers through high level communication with your customers and prospects and provide efficient solutions to meet their needs

Research and maintain a keen understanding of the various spot markets and trends to provide competitive quotes to your customers and prospects

Collaborate closely with senior management and operation teams to ensure that customer needs are understood and supported

Work diligently with new and existing software and tools to ensure that all work and data is updated and accurate

Process customer information and order entry quickly and diligently to ensure a proper workflow to accounting

Utilize McLeod Software in accordance with company policy, expectations, and direction from senior management

Continue to meet and exceed goals set for you of growth in gross profit $, gross margin %, acquisition of new accounts, new lanes/locations, and load count goals as directed by management

Proficiency in using new and existing software and tools for accurate data management
