SUPV SHIFT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The Pentagon Force Protection Agency is seeking a Supervisory Shift Operations Specialist for the Law Enforcement Directorate at the Pentagon Operations Center. Responsibilities

Oversees and coordinates the activities of the various shift personnel (military, civilian, and contractors) that assess and monitor the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events at or within the boundaries of the Pentagon Reservation, Navy Annex and DoW Leased Facilities
Serves as a Supervisory Shift Operations Specialist and manages the work of one of four shifts working 24/7 overseeing the operations of the POC
Provides input on DoW /Office of Secretary of Defense generated reports for action or comment on agency policies and programs
As supervisory Shift Operations Specialist, plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets, and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work

U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service

This position is subject to the DoD Priority Placement Program
The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. A Special Background Investigation (SBI) is required with favorable adjudication by a determining authority
The employee assigned to this position is designated as a MISSION ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEE
This position requires incumbent to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and annually thereafter
One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the positions being filled
Candidates for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience in 1) analyzing and interpreting data and providing contacts and other first responders with situational awareness of CBRN monitoring, incident response, crisis and consequence management; 2) applying working knowledge and understanding of the technology and capabilities of all CBRN monitoring and detection systems; and 3) developing performance standards; identifying developmental and training needs of employees
