Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6–8 trucks and trailers

Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) and DOT inspections

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, HVAC, brake, suspension, engine, exhaust, and after-treatment systems

Repair or replace components including brakes, belts, water pumps, transmissions, tires, lift-gates, and emissions systems

Utilize computer diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues

Open, update, and close repair orders using a company-issued tablet or device

Accurately complete DOT forms, inspection reports, and repair documentation

Obtain parts from approved vendors and manage inventory as needed

Perform post-repair testing and test drives to confirm proper operation

Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and workmanship

Perform other related duties as assigned
