Crisis Interventionist Part-Time/Temp
The City of Chandler Fire Department is seeking a qualified individual to join their team as a Crisis Interventionist in a part-time, temporary role. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide crisis intervention and personal advocacy services for individuals and families, including on-scene crisis intervention, de-escalation, brief counseling, and emotional support.

Responsibilities
Provide crisis intervention and personal advocacy services for individuals and families as requested by Fire and Police
Perform on-scene crisis intervention, de-escalation, brief counseling, victim advocacy, emotional support, guidance, and short-term case management for individuals, families, and fire and police personnel
Work with a 24/7 public safety based mobile crisis response unit, working shift work and subject to on-call, standby or short notice call back
Qualification
Required
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other related field
1 year of experience in social work, counseling or crisis intervention
A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Preferred
Public safety and/or mobile crisis experience
Current LMSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC licensure
