Manage a centralized mail service operation for a multi-campus college with various mailroom distribution points
Mail service includes the daily pick up and distribution of all classes of post office mail, inter-department, certified mail, and intra-agency mail
Serves as a liaison to the United States Postal Service on matters related to the college's daily mail operation
Supervise and train all of the Postal center staff
Oversee all activities of direct reports for the mailroom staff
Qualification
Required
An associates Degree or a High School Diploma and 4 years of work related experience in a postal center or equivalent distribution center
Must have a valid South Carolina Driver's license to operate respective class vehicles
Preferred
Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures, governing the operation of a state-wide interagency postal system
Knowledge of the United States Postal Service and its operating procedures
Ability to operate advanced automated postal metering equipment
The ability to supervise and train direct reports
The ability to deal courteously and effectively with students, staff, faculty and coworkers
