Private Client Account Manager

They are seeking a Private Client Account Manager to oversee a team of account specialists, ensuring accurate financial data delivery and managing client relationships while maintaining high quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities
Oversees updates related to master files (JIB and Revenue decks, property/well master, vendors, etc.)
Review and approve team entries for accuracy and completeness
Coordinates deliverables and timelines for customers and needs of internal staff members
Monitor team progress and resolve escalated client issues
Provide Guidance to team members on issues and client specific requirements
Ensure accurate maintenance of billing decks and coordination with division orders for transfers
Oversee Recording oil & gas sales for operated, non-operated, and mineral interest properties
Review monthly revenue cycle for payment to WI, royalty, and ORRI as required
Review prior period adjustments and participate in period closing activities
Validate operated Joint interest billings and AR statements in accordance with COPAS
Ensure cost allocations follow client-defined methodology and resolve escalations as needed
Review monthly revenue and expense accruals prepared by the team
Approve general ledger journal entries and financial statements for accuracy
Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages
Ensure all financial deliverables meet internal quality standards and client deadlines
Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation across client teams
Coordinate with client production departments for revenue allocation basis
Coordinate with the internal Regulatory group for proper tax rate maintenance and monthly reporting
Manage multiple/concurrent deadlines to ensure timely task completion
Provide daily oversight and leadership to assigned team members, including task delegation, training, and performance feedback
Serve as primary client contact for assigned portfolios, ensuring strong communication and issue resolution
Lead or support special projects, system improvements, or client transitions as assigned
Qualification
Required
8+ Years of Oil & Gas industry experience (with prior supervisory or lead experience highly preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience managing multiple client accounts and small teams preferred
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities effectively
Detail Oriented
Ability to work in a team environment
Aptitude to learn recent technology, products, and concepts
Ensure client tasks are completed within client timeframe
Self-motivated
Effective communication and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Excel (Example: Use of Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
Use of ERP software's
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
Ability to coach and develop team members while maintaining accountability
Strong project management and prioritization abilities
Preferred
Prior supervisory or lead experience highly preferred
