Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, general ledger entries)
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports
Assist with payroll preparation and contractor payments
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support month-end close and basic financial reporting
Coordinate with external accountants and tax preparers as needed
Identify discrepancies and help improve financial processes

Required

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Basic understanding of GAAP and month-end close
Ability to execute closing process, pull reports, make journal entries
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Clear communicator who can work directly with founders/operators
Available to start immediately

Preferred

Experience with payroll platforms (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, etc.)
Experience supporting small businesses or startups
