This role involves acquiring new clients in key verticals, building long-term partnerships, and leveraging the agency's extensive lead generation resources.

Responsibilities
Hunt and acquire new clients in target verticals: financial services (top priority), insurance, home services, and travel
Build relationships that generate $250K to multi-million dollar annual accounts
Convert marketing-generated inbound leads into long-term client partnerships
Lead consultative sales conversations that demonstrate ROI across data analytics, creative services, digital marketing, and direct mail production
Collaborate with internal SMEs to develop winning proposals (you focus on relationships, they help you close)
Achieve $500K+ in new business annually (with 12-18 month ramp period and patience from leadership)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of direct mail or direct response sales experience with proven track record of hunting new logos (not account farming)
Full-service marketing agency background: ability to speak to data, creative, digital, AND print
Consultative, value-based selling approach (they compete on service and ROI, not price)
Comfortable with long enterprise sales cycles (12+ months, sometimes 1-5 years)
Willingness to travel approximately 25% for client meetings and conferences
Preferred
Existing book of business in financial services, travel, insurance, or home services
Mid-market agency experience (50-500 employees), not large national print houses
Healthcare or Medicare marketing experience
