Responsibilities

Generate agency leads and proactively seek out new appointments and new business opportunities by utilizing various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events

Conduct thorough assessments and needs analysis to understand potential agents' insurance needs for personal and commercial lines

Educate agents on insurance carrier product options, policy features, and coverage forms to help them make informed decisions

Prepare and deliver personalized insurance proposals and presentations tailored to meet the unique needs of prospective agents

Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing agents to promote client retention and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities

Required

3-5 years of proven sales experience

Experience within the insurance industry

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including some overnight

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with agents and build strong relationships. Ability to effectively explain insurance products in a clear and concise manner

Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets while consistently exceeding customer expectations

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close sales deals
