National Account Manager (Audio Visual Events)
HireSparks AV Recruiting is representing a nationwide audiovisual company seeking an Audio Visual Events Account Manager. The role involves managing client relationships, developing new business, and overseeing the planning and execution of audiovisual events.
Responsibilities
Understand client goals and objectives
Manage client budget and act as a product expert
Build professional relationships
Solicit, secure, and produce new business while retaining assigned and existing accounts
Make sales calls to current and/or prospective clients
Solicit and secure target accounts and submit timely follow-up reports
Develop and acquire accounts specifically focused on assigned markets and industry segments
Prepare proposals and necessary follow-up to secure business, confirming requirements and acquiring all necessary information to produce the event successfully
Make necessary site inspections or trips to ensure proper planning
Oversee the planning and implementation of all operational activities for assigned events, including developing floor plans, flow sheets, labor calls, production schedules, client requirements, and exhibit forms
Supervise events on-site as required
Prepare client billing and submit to accounting no later than five to ten working days after the close of the event
Obtain future event schedules from clients and update information in the Sales System
Solicit accounts on an annual and multi-year basis as appropriate
Follow up on client concerns, questions, and collections as necessary or requested
Stay current with industry technology standards and company product knowledge and expertise
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as an account manager is required
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of prior experience as an account manager and/or related industry experience
Strong sales and communication skills
Preferred
Preferably with a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience is typically needed
