Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the Technician and Assistant team across your clinic to ensure seamless operations
Procedure & Standards Development: Collaborate on Medical Procedures and Standards of Care across all Sploot locations
Recruitment & Training: Assist in building a team of “rockstars,” plus oversee training to maintain exceptional patient care
Lead by Example: Work as the Lead Technician on the clinic floor, setting the bar for best practices and patient-centered care
Culture Champion: Promote the Sploot culture by encouraging flexibility, work-life balance, and team support to keep everyone happy and thriving

Qualification

Current CVTRVTLVTLVMT3+ years veterinary technician experienceLeadership skillsEmergency/Urgent Care ExperienceHigh standardsManagement certificationCollaborative mindset

Required

Certification: Current CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT (must have passed the VTNE)
Experience: At least 3+ years as a veterinary technician in general medicine and/or surgery
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams, delegating tasks, and driving accountability
Collaborative Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at teamwork and communication
High Standards: A 'bar raiser' who actively seeks to elevate the team's capabilities and patient outcomes

Preferred

Emergency/Urgent Care Experience: Background in ER or urgent care settings
Management Certification: Certified Veterinary Clinic Manager licensure (or similar) is a bonus
