Responsibilities

Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements for medium to large complex projects
Assisting Project Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals
Cost-effectively executing Distributed Control System project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements
Design, Test and Commission Automation Enclosures, Control Logic and Human Machine Interfaces with ABB or 3rd party Control System

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or other engineering degree
8+ years of experience in engineering, working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies
A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA
Position will be based in Houston, TX
Reimbursement for relocation is not available
Ability and willingness to travel approximately up to 80% of the time
