Responsibilities
Lead accounting and serve as a close partner to the CFO and operations leadership
Follow the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and variance analysis
Review journal entries and reconciliations, and work through issues to ensure accuracy and consistency
Ensure clean data flows into financial reporting
Act as the primary accounting resource for financial systems—maintaining data integrity and troubleshooting issues that impact reporting and visibility
Lead and develop the accounting team
Support audit and tax requirements
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in accounting
Ability to lead accounting and serve as a close partner to the CFO and operations leadership
Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Ability to prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
Oversight of inventory accounting, valuation, and variance analysis
Comfort with reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
Ability to work through issues to ensure accuracy and consistency
Experience working closely with operations to ensure clean data flows into financial reporting
Ability to maintain data integrity and troubleshoot issues that impact reporting and visibility
Strong technical curiosity and confidence in working through system-related challenges
Experience leading and developing an accounting team
Support for audit and tax requirements
Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO
Manufacturing experience
Strong inventory and cost accounting knowledge
Solid Excel skills
Hands-on leadership style
