DH Pace Company is a family-owned business and an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door products. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop relationships with customers in the commercial and industrial sectors and increase sales revenue for their product lines.

Responsibilities

Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services
Cultivate sales within commercial and industrial sectors calling on building owners/managers, educational institutions/colleges, K-12, municipalities, retail sector and hospitals in Chicago metro area
Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Prefer a minimum of two (2) years of relevant service provider industry outside sales experience successfully calling on hospitals, educational institutions, retail sector, building owners, property managers, purchasing/procurement managers at industrial/commercial building facilities selling building products, construction materials, or other mechanical / technical type products and service agreements
Must enjoy generating sales by prospecting for new business and cultivating additional business with existing customers
Proficient with Windows based programs and ERP/CRM systems; will maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
Good driving record and valid driver's license required
Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required in advance of hire

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
We will also consider less experienced applicants who are naturally mechanically-inclined and believe sales will be a good career choice based on personal attributes
