Project Manager/Integrated Master Scheduler
Global Science and Technology, Inc. is seeking an expert in project management and software planning tools to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellite service in Silver Spring, MD. The Project Manager/Integrated Master Scheduler will focus on enterprise-level project data and timelines while coordinating science and technology planning for senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Function as an Integrated Master Scheduler for NOAA's satellite planning and data management activities
Focus on enterprise level project data and timelines
Coordinate science and technology planning and departmental coordination for senior leadership
Plan for project milestones and facilitate iteration and steady progress in NOAA's software development efforts
Work with subject matter experts to identify key milestones and map them to work breakdown structures
Manage an overall schedule control board and help leaders illustrate that NOAA is tracking milestones related to satellite launches
Bolster NOAA's capability to demonstrate its capabilities support the broader U.S. satellite enterprise
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree with emphasis on science or technology management, software development, information technology or project management in general
Five to ten years of software development or master scheduler project experience in support of senior leadership, preferably in the science, cloud migration, and government sectors
Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Jira
Experience in both waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience in the government sector
Experience in science and technology planning
Willingness to learn Smartsheet quickly
