Lakefield Veterinary Group is committed to providing essential surgical and dental care for pets. The Director of Operations will be responsible for launching new veterinary hospitals and managing the growth of existing locations, focusing on team development and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Developing hospital teams from the ground up: managing interviewing, hiring, and onboarding; establishing workflows and operating procedures; setting, implementing, and maintaining client service standards; and ensuring that hospital teams are prepared, confident, and supported from day one
Overseeing existing PawDoc hospitals to ensure continued success and support of Core Values: WOW Service, Learning, Respect, Fun, and Do the Right Thing

Required

5+ years of hospital leadership experience, including multi-site leadership
Strong analytical experience, including KPIs, P&Ls, and budgeting
Experience participating in and supporting new hospital openings
Proven experience growing existing locations
A passion for teaching, training, and developing hospital leaders and team members
Hands-on experience in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training support teams
Success in building relationships across teams

Preferred

Experience in both general practice and specialty/emergency veterinary hospital environments
